About the Northwest Trade Ally Network

The Northwest Trade Ally Network helps trade allies grow their businesses through participation in public utility lighting efficiency incentive programs. The Trade Ally Network helps trade allies find utility incentive programs, offers valuable trainings and industry news, and provides useful forms and resources.

Lighting accounts for about 30 percent of all electricity consumed by commercial and industrial facilities across the region. Energy efficient lighting is one of the largest and most cost-effective ways a business can reduce its energy costs.

Through the Network, trade allies (electrical contractors, distributors, manufacturer representatives, designers and regional manufacturers) and utilities can work cooperatively to help customers make cost-effective, energy-efficient lighting choices. By taking advantage of our comprehensive services, trade allies can expand their businesses through the sale of products and services related to energy efficient commercial and industrial lighting in both retrofit and new construction markets. The Network provides valuable support services at no cost, including:

  • Bi-monthly e-newsletter with relevant information
  • Contact information and maps of regional utility incentive programs
  • Technical workshops
  • Online and telephone support
  • Industry events calendar
